Why Every CIO Needs a TIE

Regardless of whether you run a software development organization, a technology infrastructure organization, or a service delivery organization, leaders constantly struggle with two fundamental questions: The Right Work: How do I make sure I get the right things done?  Speed to Market: How do I make sure the right things are being done more quickly? 

These questions are rather obvious. Ironically however, few attack them in a structured way that produces real change without slowing productivity or driving up costs first. Why? Because the thinking processes used to solve the core problems are not always well-thought-out with specific roadmaps and clear outcomes. And, the bottom-line objective gets lost in the problem solving process.
