Our guest today is Kevin Crandall, Vice President at Xactware Solutions, Inc., located in Utah Valley just south of Salt Lake City. Kevin has been with Xactware since 2004, and over this time he has held positions of General Manager; Assistant Vice President of Implementation; and now Vice President of Quality and Claims Solutions. Kevin is one of those people you just like to get to know. He’s been highly successful everywhere he has been, and it doesn’t take long to learn that Kevin cares about the people he works with. 

For those who don't know about Xactware, let me explain. This is a unique company that develops software for estimating the cost of building and repair. 22 of 25 U.S. property insurance companies use Xactware Solutions.

More about Kevin

Kevin Crandall leads the teams responsible for ensuring the overall quality of Xactware’s claims solutions software. His interest lies in developing highly effective personnel and QA/QC systems founded on the principle that it is the customer who ultimately defines the standard of quality for Xactware’s products and services. Kevin has been with Xactware for over 12 years. His previous responsibilities have included leadership over many of the company’s customer facing operations: inside sales & customer service, technical account management, implementation project management, product training, and technical support. His mission at Xactware has always been to make sure that customers have an excellent experience when they come to Xactware for help, and that Xactware learns from those interactions how to improve its products and services. Kevin came to Xactware with him extensive experience in market research, product management, and customer service management. He “grew up” professionally in the political and marketing research industry. Later, he worked in the broadband internet technology industry before coming to Xactware. Kevin earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Brigham Young University and a master’s degree in organizational leadership from Gonzaga University. His volunteer work includes chairing state and regional councils for the Utah Department of Workforce Services, as well as, various service and training positions with the Boy Scouts of America and other organizations in his community.
